Kurt Blackmore
Kurt was born in Indianapolis and spent his childhood getting his beloved sister in trouble. As he grew, music became more and more important. If he wasn't listening to music or playing, he was thinking about it! His mastery of the trumpet gained him a scholarship and spending money. He graduated from Butler University with a degree in Music Theory and Composition.
Kurt worked as a salesman for a music publishing company, was a bank supervisor, and finally became a Certified Java Programmer. As a programmer, Kurt could be plugged into his iPod - What a Bonus!
When the demands of the day-to-day grind weren't taking his time, Kurt could be found in his home studio composing music. He always hoped his music would be published but thought it needed to be more polished. After the birth of Kurt's son in 2002, he didn’t take the time to make these adjustments; he was too busy enjoying his role as a parent with his wife Carolyn. Unfortunately, his vision will never be fully realized since Kurt’s time among us came to an unexpected end on February 19, 2004. He was 38.
